Dunham and Frelighsburg teem with artists and artisans, and they boast many venues that provide a glimpse of their cultural vitality.
Les Centres d’art de Dunham and Frelighsburg, along with the Collectif Cœur Nomade offer an array of visual art exhibitions throughout the year. And the Dunham library has a wide range of literary activities for children, everything from storytelling and puppet shows to monthly singalongs. Meanwhile, workshops conducted by local artists are offered on a regular basis at the Centre d’art de Dunham. La Brasserie de Dunham and Beat et Betterave stage weekly music concerts. Over the last few years, the Comité du patrimoine culturel et religieux has also been organizing concerts and conferences at the Ste-Croix church in Dunham. The Nature et Création exhibition, the largest outdoor exhibit of its kind in the province of Québec with more than 135 sculptures, is held every year at the Domaine des Côtes d’Ardoise vineyard from mid-July to mid-October.
