The Brome-Missisquoi CLD offers counselling-services to Brome-Missisquoi’s artists and cultural organizations to help them in their initiatives and development projects. The CLD can provide such things as guidance, help in drawing up a business plan, professional accompaniment, as well as project-funding solutions.
Cultural entrepreneurs may be eligible for a number of subsidies or loans to fund their projects. Many programs are available at the Brome-Missisquoi CLD.
Certain cultural projects may also be eligible to receive funding from the Fonds de développement de l’offre touristique des Cantons-de-l’Est (FDOT) or from the Pacte rural.
Other programs are available with the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec, the SODEC or with Canada’s Economic Action Plan.

A mentoring service for entrepreneurs in the cultural area is also offered at the Brome-Missisquoi CLD. The mentoring consists of a partnering between a mentor and mentee. The mentor’s role is to provide support, listen to and advise the mentee in his/her business development.
