From April 20 to July 16, 2022.
To introduce herself, Élyse will always say first that she is from the Magdalen Islands. Being born and growing up in the Magdalen Islands is something that defines her, that influences her vision of life and that stands out through her creation. This proximity to nature and its elements and an awareness of its fragility are reflected in his works. For nearly thirty years, Élyse has devoted her life to her passion: painting.
“The paintings presented are part of a series arising from my reflections on human nature. The geese representing us, they become human avatars. I stage them in their interactions with each other and in their relationship with the invisible; the world of feelings, of perceptions which, although we cannot see them, materially speaking, exist (abstract part of the painting).”
A whole personal technical research was deployed for the realization of these works, games and experiments with various acrylic mediums and I sought to create a plastic experience both joyful and sophisticated for the spectator.
- Opening on May 21, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
