Durham County Poets is a band in the true sense of the word. It all started in a small café in Ormstown, formerly known as Durham, in the Montérégie.
Since 2011, the band has made a name for itself on the Canadian and American music scene. Each of its members writes and arranges the music and brings something unique to the band. Wherever they perform, their audiences respond enthusiastically. Their repertoire draws on a wide range of genres: blues, soul, folk, R&B; and gospel, all blending together seamlessly.
The result? A contemporary and authentically Canadian sound.
