Since its inception in 2008, the Centre culturel St-John in the town of Bromont has put the emphasis on variety, quality and the talent of local and emerging artists to develop the credibility of its show space. An intimate entertainment hall that has a seating capacity of 94 people, the cultural Centre boasts an extensive and varied program that reaches the entire population; the program includes musical mornings, film-club evenings, "Boîte à chansons" song nights, conferences, benefit concerts, youth entertainment,, projects such as "Jeune relève bromontoise", CD launches, etc. Providing an outstanding showcase for the region's creators, the cultural Centre has enabled many well-known artists to leave their mark over the years. The mission of the cultural Centre is in keeping with the town of Bromont's cultural policy, which is to provide the population with a vibrant and cultural environment and to promote a sense of belonging among the community.
