Trained at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Montreal. Jacques Lajeunesse opened his school in Montreal in 1976. He teaches drawing and painting using the technique of the old masters. Jacques Lajeunesse won several competitions for architectural projects both abroad and in Quebec. His paintings are found in France, the United States and Canada. It remains for 33 years Frelighsburg and offers intensive courses in drawing and painting. He is also a founding member of Festiv'Art of Frelighsburg, a famous artistic event in Brome-Missisquoi.
