Made up of original compositions for piano, some of which are arranged for strings, English horn and voice without words, Catherine Major's new opus abandons the words that usually nourish her songs, to offer an entirely instrumental album, revealing a new facet of her musical sensibility. “For the first time, I've decided to keep my voice and words to myself, and return to the basics: the instrument,” says Catherine Major. “The resulting music is imbued with my memories and recollections: they are intrinsically attached to my body."
