ISABELLA D'ÉLOIZE PERRON

The young violinist Isabella d'Éloize Perron, noted for her great musical maturity, was named as a Radio-Canada Révélation in classical music for 2020-2021. She also won the First Prize and People's Choice Award at the prestigious 2021 Orford Music Award Competition. Last November, she played to sold-out houses at the Maison symphonique de Montréal and at the Palais Montcalm in Québec City.

Isabella d'Éloize Perron began her solo career at the age of seven with the I Musici de Montréal chamber orchestra, and has since performed with many other ensembles, including the Orchestre Métropolitain (Montréal), the Peninsula Symphony (San Francisco), the National Theatre Orchestra (Prague), the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2020 Michael Measures Prize, presented by the National Youth Orchestra of Canada (NYO Canada) in partnership with the Canada Council for the Arts. In the fall of 2022, she will tour across Canada with the Ensemble Classico-Moderne. Isabella d'Éloize Perron plays on a 1768 Guadagnini violin, generously loaned by Canimex Group.
